Hi I'm Tonya
Yes, I’m an accounting professional, but first and foremost I am a wife and mother to three wonderful children (Lucas – 19, Triton – 14, and Mackenzie – 4). I do what I do (because I love it!) to provide them with a childhood made of opportunities.

If I’m not behind my desk, on a call or in a meeting with a client, or in my home gym (because I’m also a fitness junkie), you will most definitely find me commuting my children to and from their activities or on the bench as their #1 cheerleader.

I was born and raised in Alaska and I appreciate all that it has to offer. I try to bask in its glory as much as I can: hiking, fishing, gardening, and camping are a few of my favorite things.

Tonya Vanderpool Accounting started as a thesis during her MBA program back in 2006-2008. The assignment was to create a business plan for a dream business. All the required details went into the business plan: Name of company (Vanderpool Business Services at that time), what services the business offered, its competition and industry analysis, forecasts for three years, all the little details. Little did Tonya know that this project was the true start of her dream business and passion coming to life.

In 2012 when Tonya received her CPA license (in Texas), she branched out on her own with her first two clients unknowing the direction the business would take in the years to come. It has naturally grown as her experience has developed over the years.
Tonya has found a niche in assisting small businesses, tribal governments, and small nonprofits with the financial management aspects, cleanup of accounts and books, and the accuracy of their reporting. Eventually she branched into providing payroll services and individual and small business tax preparation. The evolution of Tonya’s services is based on the experience she’s gained over time.
The leading skill that continues to drive her and the business is that she treats every client's books as if they were her own. This internal characteristic means that she cares deeply about each client, the accuracy of their information, and how their finances are handled. Tonya cares about details, deadlines, and the reliability of herself and your information.
